Oh, God help us rightly to remember the birth of Jesus, that we may share in the songs of the angels, the gladness of the shepherds, and the worship of the wise men. May this Christmas morning make us happy to be your children. -Robert Louis Stevenson

1 Peter 3&4 Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.

Isaiah 53:4-12

Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;

The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray;

2 Timothy 4:17&18
